Can't download Canadian preferred share prices

I have never been able to download Canadian preferred share prices.
Is this a Quicken source problem or a Ticker symbol coding issue?
Example: IFC.PR.A on the Toronto exchange coded as IFC.PR.A. This is the code used in TD Waterhouse.

I was successfully able to correct this problem by changing the symbol from IFC.PR.A to IFC-A. Go figure!
