An Internet connection is required to setup Quicken 2017. Mac OS X El Capitan.

Recently rebuilt my older Mac and have it back up and running. Trying to reinstall Quicken 2017 for Mac. Was able to mount the image, drag the program to Applications. But when I try and launch the program, it seems like it is trying to check for updates prior to opening the program. I am connected to the internet, wired connection.
