updating bank password for an Express Connect account

Citi Bank recently required me to update my password which I did on their web page. I can view my account on the Citi web page with the new password with no problems. However, I cannot figure out how to change the password in Quicken so I can no longer update my Citi account through One Step Update because the update dialog doesn't have the option to enter a password - apparently it is stored somewhere. So I get an error updating because the password is wrong. I have searched high and low for instructions on how to change the Citi password in Quicken with no luck. How do I change my Citi password in Quicken?

For accounts that are setup for Express Web Connect start One Step Update, and go into the Settings.
You should see a gold key next to the account in question. Click on it and it should allow you to change the password.Signature:

I am sorry to hear about this issue with logins and passwords respecting online banking services. Thank you for mentioning this problem here on the Quicken Community.
First, are you making use of the Password Vault feature, currently? Also, are you receiving any error codes when attempting to sign into your accounts with Citi? Note that there is currently an Open Alert regarding Citibank and Citi Cards that involves connectivity errors and may be related to the situation at hand. You can follow the link provided here for more details.
I hope that is helpful, and I look forward to your response.
Thank you,

Everything worked fine up until Citi made me change my password on their web site a few days ago. I can log into the web site with the new password just fine. Also download transactions from their web site into Quicken just fine. A couple of things I've tried have taken me to the Password Vault where I have to enter a password. I don't recall ever setting up the Password Vault, so I have no idea what the password would be. I tried the "One Step Update" and CitiBank is listed, but there is not a place to enter a password. I was not aware of the Open Alert until now so I did check that out - I suppose that could possibly be the issue; but I think that since I have not entered my new password for Citi into Quicken, that Quicken is attempting to log in with my old password.0

I had the exact issue with my Citi account that is described in the original post, but the solution offered and used by the OP didn't seem to apply to my version (I'm a Quicken Premier user on the current version). I started One Step Update as indicated, but there is no Settings button there. There's a Manage Passwords link, which when clicked, brought up the Edit Password Vault window. Under my Citi account row, in the Password Stored column, it says "Not required" with a gold key icon next to it. Those items were not clickable, plus the Change Password button in this Window were greyed out. When tried to update only the Citi account, I did not get a prompt to change the password. I only got an error code (CC-503, I think). Anyway, the only thing that finally worked was deactivating the on-line set-up, and then reactivating it. Now I'm good as I was before the password change.
I'm just posting this for any other user who has Citi Bank forcing a password change. I do wish there were a more elegant way of changing passwords.0
