Two Checking Accounts - Want to Eliminate One

I have been working for years with one checking account but recently closed it and opened a new one. Am I able to delete the old from Quicken? Thanks.

    Why?  You still need all the transactions in it.  They didn't change.  

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
