Quicken for Mac ...can no longer reconcile bank and credit card accounts

Just ran latest Q for Mac update (Version 6.9.0 (Build 609.45401.100) MacOS12.6). Now Quicken will not reconcile accounts correctly. No longer does basic arithmetic correctly. I re-reconciled previously correct accounts and now those are screwed up. What's up Quicken - are you going to fix this one any time soon?

    @RGB2022 In general, Reconcile still works in the latest version of Quicken Mac. In fact, I don't think the latest release changed anything involving reconciliation. It certainly "does basic arithmetic correctly." So no, Quicken isn't going to fix something which isn't broken. (Also, FYI, you're not talking to Quicken here; just fellow users and a few Quicken moderators of the site.)

    That said, it's obviously not working for you, so you'll need to provide more info and/or dig a little deeper to identify the source of the problem. Is this problem with a specific financial institution? Many users have discussed having problems with a few financial institutions which were sending Quicken an online balance including pending transactions, while Quicken doesn't have those pending transactions, resulting in a mis-match when trying to reconcile. Can you see if the difference between the Quicken balance and the online balance is equal to the amount of any pending transactions on the financial institution's website? 

    Alternatively, instead of reconciling to the online balance, can you look at your most recent monthly statement from the financial institution and reconcile to that data and balance; that will eliminate pending transactions, and should work. 

    If that doesn't get you moving not he right direction, you can either post back here with some more details, or you may prefer to call Quicken Support, because they can screen share with you to see what you're seeing and try to pin down the problem interactively; posting messages and waiting for replies on a forum like this can be frustrating trying to troubleshoot a problem with a reconciliation.
