Many application import csv files and either match to the appropriate fields through code logic or allow you to match the proper fields.
This is obviously a method for Quicken to be able to charge banks to allow them to use their formats and to force users to upgrade as they change things every so often.
Why would they allow "Mint CSVs?"0
