Quicken hangs when updating Chase accounts, post EWC+ reauthorization

After multiple attempts I finally moved my chase accounts to the new connection method. Everything seemed to be working fine until yesterday, 9/25, when Quicken would hang and not respond while attempting to update chase accounts. Same issue today as I cannot do a one step update. The system gets stuck when trying to update any chase account. I have the right connection method, EWC+, but the update will not work. It simply hangs in and infinite do loop and I have to shut down Quicken.

I am sorry about these problems with the program hanging during updates. Thank you for speaking with us about this here on the Quicken Community.Have you tried restarting your computer after this happens? You may additionally try uninstalling the Quicken software using the steps listed in this Support Article, then deleting Quicken from the Program Files (x86) folder. You may then reinstall the software after following those steps using the steps listed here.
I look forward to hearing back from you about your results.
Thank you,

Jared,
I went through a full uninstall, including deleting from program files folder, then reinstalled and still having same issue. Frustrating.0 -
UPDATE: I just let the Chase update run for about 15 minutes and it finally completed (had to keep telling Windows to ignore non-responding and keep waiting). Really don't want to have to wait that long for an account update but hopefully this won't be the case going forward.1

Thanks so much for checking back in with us to let us know about this development. I am glad to hear that the issue now seems to be resolved, although I do wish I could provide more information about this longer-than-average loading time.
Feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns, and certainly let us know if the waiting times continue or increase.
Thank you,
