Entries Not Involving Cash [Edited]
Twom
Is it possible to make an entry that does not involve cash? for example, can I reduce my A/C Receivable (credit an asset) and increase my Bad Debt Expense (debit an expense) with Quicken??? Thanks

Of course. You don't need to start an entry in a bank or cash account. Go to your receivable account and make an entry either as a Transfer to the bad debt account or categorize it to an expense.
