Reports do not use memo from the split (Q Mac)

I ran a category report including the Memo/Notes column over transactions with splits. The report correctly picks the split from the correct category, but uses the memo/note from the top level item, not the split.

Are you sure?

The modern transaction reports in Quicken (i. e. not one of the legacy reports like Category Summary that fall under Other Reports and which are deprecated) display a memo/note value for transactions that is the concatenation of the top level item value and the split line value, separated by a colon.

If this does not clarify things, then please provide details that will allow us to reproduce the problem. Details like which report category to pick from the Quicken Reports section of the Reports sidebar, and which Report Name within that category. And anything else that might narrow down the issue.
