R44.20 - Pending Transactions are incorrectly included in Account Bar balances

Effective today I started to see pending transactions in my Chase Credit Card accounts as well as my United Bank of Michigan Accounts.  While I have seen some dialogue concerning problems with these none of them seem to reflect my particular issue.    In my case:
  • The pending transactions are correctly showing in a 3rd, seperate tab at the bottom of the register for each account (next to downloaded transactions tab and reminders tab.)
  • The "online balance" at the bottom of each register for each account correctly excludes the pending transactions.
  • The balances for these accounts shown on the "Account Bar" are incorrectly including the pending transactions even though they have not been entered in the register and are not included in the "online balance."
How do I get the balances in the account bar to reflect the balances shown in the register which excludes pending transactions?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The option for including or excluding from ending and current balances is grayed out for me. It can't be turned on or off. Only the ability to hide or show pending transactions.

Thank you @UKR - I reviewed the thread you mentioned and like @K109 the option to exclude from ending and current balances is grayed out for me as well.  For now I have "hidden" pending transactions on each register impacted which has corrected my "account bar" balances.  But like the original poster of that thread I would prefer to see those pending transactions on the seperate tab, but just don't want them reflected in my account balances anywhere.  Hopefully you are correct that a fix will be forthcoming soon.

Andrew King, I think you are being way too harsh. I can believe a number of people prefer to see the pending transactions included in the balance, even though the final value may change. It would be especially important to people near their credit limit.

As others have mentioned, the issue is the lack of an option to decide how to handle pending transactions,

Perhaps I was being harsh......thank you for your comment. Obviously enough people saw value in this feature for Quicken to add this, even thuogh I personally did not. The issue is the implementation and I should calm down.
