On the Loan Payment Terms, under Interest Rate, the menu for choosing Fixed vs Variable is greyed out and is always on Fixed. Is there a way to change this into variable rates?

A HELOC should not be defined as a mortgage-type loan in Quicken. It should be set up like a Credit Card, due to its revolving nature: you take money out, you pay some of it back, you take more money out, etc. On a mortgage, you can only take money out once, pay it back and be done.pstarfam said:Same question- I have tried the various kinds of loans and it seems Variable is always greyed out.
