:( Windows 11 date is mm/dd/yyyy Quicken date shows as ddmmyyyy . yes, there are no slashes, dashes or anything to separate days from months from years. I want this to show the same as the windows date mm/dd/yyyy . How do I change this or does quicken need to tell the program what to do?

It's the Short Date in Windows Control Panel which is used by Quicken. See image.
The settings in Calendar are only important if you ever try to import QIF files with dates using a 2-digit mm/dd/yy format. Not set correctly the dates will be converted to the wrong century.
Please reboot Windows after making changes.
