Weeks Old Pending Transactions that Will Not Match or Self-Delete

The production release of pending transactions revealed weeks old pending transactions that do not match or self-delete after OSU. They are the result of pending transactions that were being downloaded in the background before the feature was released, aka disappearing red flags with no transactions to accept.

Unless Quicken provides a process to manually delete them or completely refreshes the pending table with only the pending transactions currently listed on the FI website, old unmatched transactions will remain indefinitely. This results in incorrect account balances caused by erroneously retaining long ago posted transactions as still pending in the C2R register.

The only work around is to turn off pending transactions in each account register. The fix would be to delete the old pending transactions after each OSU and only present the ones newly downloaded in that session.

Anyone else seeing this?

Click the tiny hourglass at the bottom of each account register to see an option to Hide Pending Transactions. It has to be done for each account register that has an hourglass, which is most of the EWC accounts.

@BryanK - that hourglass can be hard to find as it is quite small.  look at the BOTTOM of the register and it is just to the left of the 'ending balance'  - not the register itself, but even below that where the summary balances are
