Download backup data from the Quicken Cloud

My family quicken file got completely deleted from my laptop. How do I download the whole file from the cloud. OR I do have a backup on a thumb drive from my laptop that is three months old. Is there a way to merge it with the cloud transactions or can I open the old file and then resend all the bank transactions to bring it back to current.

The Quicken Cloud is NOT a backup.
If you have a real backup, you could start with that and then re-download all transactions since the backup.
BUT - Most banks will usually only download 90 days of recent activity.
You should really have several more current backups and access Quicken at least monthly.

Did you have an auto backup schedule and I believe Quicken will automatically backup before an update.

Guessing you already looked in the Windows Recycle Bin ?
Looking in your Windows /Documents/ folder - is there still a /Quicken/ folder ?
And, in that folder, is there a /Documents/Quicken/Backup/ folder ?
Quicken creates auto backups in that folder -
and also prompts you to create manual backups after "x" uses of Quicken as per your "preferences" -
