Can you store your Quicken file on Google Drive and then access from more than one computer (say a desktop and laptop)?

Related: Can you install Quicken on more than one computer at a time? (Which would be necessary for the first question)

Quicken, any feature level, is not designed for use by multiple users sharing the same data file.

In short: one computer, one Windows User Account, one installation of Quicken on that computer, one (or more as needed) Quicken data file(s) on the computer's internal hard drive or SSD.

Additional people can use this environment when needed, one person at a time but they all have the same full, unrestricted access to all functions of Quicken.

If you have a need for two or more people accessing your bookkeeping data at the same time, performing order entry or other tasks (shipping, invoicing, tax preparation, etc.) then, IMHO, Quicken is not suitable for you. I would recommend you start looking for a full-featured multi-user capable accounting software package, one that is customizable to suit your business needs.

Networked drives are not supported for the active Quicken data file, but you can always setup your Automatic or Manual Backups to be written to Dropbox, Google Drive or any other backup server system.

To answer your 2nd question: You may install Quicken on more than one computer, e.g., your at home desktop (A) and a travel laptop (B). However, when doing so to use your own data file on A or B you need to follow this rule: use backup/restore to a USB stick to migrate your current data file from A to B. Stop using Quicken on A while traveling and making changes on B. After return home, backup data file on B and restore it back to its original location on A. Stop using B for making changes. Repeat the entire procedure next time you travel again.
If you ever get into a situation where you made changes on A which are not reflected on B (or vice versa), there's no "data file merge" process available to put the two together into one correct data file.
