The account you selected cannot contain the data you have downloaded

Quicken Premier on Windows 10 gives the following error when trying to download historical transactions: "The account you selected cannot contain the data you have downloaded. Please select a different account."

I have a gap of about 9 months of transactions... From mid Oct 2021 until mid July 2022. Hundreds or perhaps thousands of transactions are stuck!

I have disconnected the online services and reconnected. I have rebooted. I have tried downloading using different time periods. Nothing works.

    I haven't seen that message before. Please provide more details. What kind of account? What financial institution? What download method is Quicken using for that account? What might be unusual about the data you're trying to download?

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Biz & Personal Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.
