Did you try clicking the DATE column heading to sort by date? You can click it again to reverse the sort order. You can click most of the column headings to sort by the column. And see if the register is filtered at the top. What kind of account is it? Maybe post a screenshot of it being out of order.
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
