is there a way to have the community newsletter pushed to an email address when it is published?

    This may be what you're looking for... Click your avatar at top right of the forum page. Then click Edit Profile. On your forum profile, click Notification Preferences. Tick the under Email and next to Announcements. You will then get email notifications of all Announcement category posts, which will include the Community Newsletter.

    I just looked and in my notification preferences i saw nothing that said announements

    Sorry about that. I don't think it shows up there until you are following the Category. So click the Categories link at the top of the page, then click Announcements. Once you are there, click the bell icon and select "Discussions: Notify of all new discussions by email"
