If you deleted your backup files (or if Quicken started deleting old backups to keep the number of backup files within the limit specified in Quicken preferences) you're not going to be able to undelete them unless you have something in place that backs up your Mac, like Time Machine or an online backup service such as Backblaze. But I'm sure you would already know if you were doing something like that, so the answer to your question is almost certainly "no". Once you delete files & empty your trash, they're gone.

Just to build on Jon's comment, could you clarify what you're trying to "bring back"? If you were previously using Quicken 2017, then you should have a data file (or files) ending with ".quicken2017" and automatically-created backup files ending with ".quicken2017backup". Are you still using the same Mac as when you used Quicken 2017? Unless you manually deleted the .quicken2017 and .quicken2017backup files, they may still be on your Mac.

You can search for them in the Finder. But Finder's search won't, by default, look in hidden folders, and Quicken's default location is insider the hidden User Library folder. You need to add a search term for "System Files" and set it to "Are Included", like this:

Or you can look for them manually in the default location, where they may reside unless you moved them. (In the Finder, hold the Option key while pulling down the Go menu; select Library, then navigate to Application Support and Quicken 2017 within that. A live data file would be in the Documents folder, and backups would be in the Backups folder.)

If there are truly no .quicken2017 or .quicken2017backup files on your computer, do you have any form of backup of your Mac, such as Time Machine or a cloud-based backup service like iDrive or Backblaze?

If you deleted the files, and if you have no backups of your Mac from prior to deleting them, then as Jon said, you're out of luck; there's no way to make an old file magically reappear out of nowhere; it has to be on a Mac or on some backup.

If you find your .quicken2017 data file or .quicken2017backup backup data file, then it will be easy to have the current version of Quicken convert the data to the current database format so you can move forward.
