Web Connect is best.  As for Quicken finding the file.  If you can open the Web Connect file in your web browser Quicken will import it (the same if you open it in Windows File Explorer).

Or you can save it to you drive and then in Quicken select:
File -> File Import -> Web Connect (.QFX) File..., and from there you can browse and open the Web Connect/QFX file.

Go to BOA website and login. From your account, click on download, then Current Transactions, then select the Quicken version from the dropdown. A download file will be generated. Open and follow the prompts in Quicken to assign the transactions to your account.

Do I choose Web Connect or Qif (2 digit), Qif (4 digit)? How does Quicken find the file?
