can I do basic invoicing and check writing on the 2017 install version not subscription?

I like the quicken check writing over quickbooks but used quickbooks to invoice trying to keep everything on one format

The same style of checks which are used in Quicken are also used in Quickbooks.

AFAIK, there's no data transfer from Quickbooks to Quicken. That means, you'd have to manually enter transactions into a Quicken checking account register to write and print checks from Quicken.

Please tell us more why you cannot or don't want to print checks from Quickbooks.
