Discover Bank account downloading available balance, not current balance

Hi all,
Long-time Quicken Premier user. Recently underwent Discover Bank download method change like everyone. Once that was completed, I noticed that when I'd made a recent deposit and it wasn't yet available, that QW downloaded the available balance. This makes the auto reconcile feature worthless as the deposit transaction downloads and shows in the register, but isn't yet reflected in the available bank balance. This never happened before all the changes. BTW, Discover clearly shows both account and available balances, so it's not as if the account balance isn't there to be downloaded. Any idea if Quicken is working on this? Thanks in advance.

    Hello @berryjt,

I am sorry about this problem with online banking services and with different balances being received. Thank you for inquiring about this here on the Quicken Community.

If you have the chance, you could save a backup by going to File > Copy or Backup File... in the upper menu at the top of the screen and then create a 'test' data file by going to the same menu and selecting New Quicken File... Next, choose New Quicken File in the screen that follows, and then click OK. After this, choose a file location on your computer and then click Save. Choose Don't use mobile and web when prompted.

You may then add your Discover-associated accounts by navigating to the Add Account button in the upper left-hand side of the screen, denoted by the '+' symbol. Let us know if you see the available balance appearing in the test data file once this is attempted.

I look forward to hearing about your results.

    Thank you,

    Quicken Jared
