Why does Quicken ( Canada ) not work in Microsoft Windows Mode S ?

Here is the response I got from the Microsoft Team : Hello Paulette P, Thank you for coming to the forum and I will be happy to assist in the best way I can. Windows S mode only allows the installation of applications from Microsoft Store and from Quicken Software (see below) as you said it will not work. So you will need to remove your PC from S Mode, which will require you to purchase a Windows Pro key. See steps to go out of S Mode:

It’s not 365 - which is MS Office apps.it’s the S Mode… like Windows OS
which is an easy change if you want.[EDIT] updated topic title from "365" to "Mode S"0 -
There are several old threads on the Mode S topic -here is one with comments on how to switch out of Mode S - it's a One-Way transition... can't go back -
