Even tried on a new file. No error message except the screen that asks you to enter what you are doing at the time of crash.

Running most current version of Quicken R44.28

    Hello @BarryMo,

I am sorry to hear about this issue with crashing. Thank you for discussing this with us here on the Quicken Community.

Have you tried restarting your computer after this happens? You may additionally try uninstalling the Quicken software using the steps listed in this Support Article, then deleting Quicken from the Program Files (x86) folder. You may then reinstall the software after following those steps using the steps listed here.

I hope to hear back from you about your results.

    Thank you,

    Quicken Jared

    Hello @BarryMo,

I do apologize that this issue is continuing. Thank you for getting back to us to let us know about your results.

If you have the chance, you could save a backup by going to File > Copy or Backup File... in the upper menu at the top of the screen and then create a 'test' data file by going to the same menu and selecting New Quicken File... Next, choose New Quicken File in the screen that follows, and then click OK. After this, choose a file location on your computer and then click Save. Choose Don't use mobile and web when prompted.

You may then add your RSU-associated accounts by navigating to the Add Account button in the upper left-hand side of the screen, denoted by the '+' symbol. Let us know if you see the same issue with crashing occurring in the test data file once this is attempted.

I am eager to hear back from you about what seems to occur once this is tested.

    Thank you,

    Quicken Jared

    Hello @BarryMo,

Thanks for letting me know about the effects of attempting to add that account in the test data file. I am sorry to hear that this issue is so persistent.

If the program still seems to be crashing as these screens appear, I recommend reaching out to Quicken Support by making use of the link provided here. They will need to document and troubleshoot this issue in greater detail with the tools and resources available to them.

I hope that is helpful, and feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns.

    Thank you,

    Quicken Jared

I am having the exact same issue. Was this ever resolved? I really don't have time to spend chatting with Support. Current wait time is 27 minutes. This is a subscription-based software and should work.
