Security Value Does Not Match Transaction Register

I have created a Treasury Direct account to enable my purchase of an iBond. I have transferred the funds to the account and recorded the purchase of a $10,000 bond. However, the Security Value at the bottome of the Treasury Direct register only shows $1,000 as shown in the attached image. What have I probably done wrong to cause this discrepancy?

The security value is the number of shares times the price.  My guess, based on other bonds I have had (I have never had an ibond) is that you should make the purchase 10 shares (with a price of $1,000) rather than just 1.  Did you enter the price for the security?  It is apparently $1,000, which when multiplied by 10 would give you the $10,000 value you are looking for.
