How to display an account but NOT include it in various totals?

I just updated to Quicken 2022 deluxe from Quicken 2012. How do I display an account and NOT have it rolled up into various totals (e.g. 'Banking' total, 'Investing' total, 'Separate' total, Net Worth', etc..). I see the 'Keep this account separate - account will be excluded from Quicken reports and features' option under 'Account Details' / 'Display Options'. However, it is INCLUDED in 'Separate' category total and that total is rolled up into the NET Worth.
In Quicken 2012, one of the 'Display Options' under ' Account Details' was ability to display the account but NOT include it in any 'totals' (e.g. 'Banking' totals, 'Investing' totals, 'Net Worth', etc...). With the ability to display accounts and NOT have them rolled up into totals was handy!! I used this capability for a variety of purposes. Examples include: I created accounts to keep track of my credit card reward points as well as the current accessed property value of my home and vehicles. Quicken 2022 pulled in all data from Quicken 2012. Unfortunately it's rolling those account values up into various 'totals' including 'Net Worth'. Needless to say, the 'Net Worth' and all other account type totals are incorrect.

Hi @CJ99,
You stated "... it is INCLUDED in 'Separate' category total and that total is rolled up into the NET Worth. "
The answer is No. A Separate account is not included (or rolled-up) to Net Worth in Quicken. It is - as its name suggest - completely separate from other accounts and activity recorded in Quicken.
As to the behavior you apparently are seeing now that you moved to "Quicken 2022" (in your words), I cannot explain how or why those accounts - created in Q 2012 are apparently being included in your net worth. I would, however, suggest that you now convert those types of accounts to the "separate account" type in your new Quicken datafile, so that they are not - in the future - included in your net worth going forward.
Let me know if you have ay followup questions.

Thanks Frankx.
I had tried that, changing the applicable accounts to 'Separate'. They were still being rolled up into the Net Worth in the ACCOUNTS list along the left side of the Quicken page. However... I exited out of Quicken and came back later to look at it based on your reply and now the 'Separate' accounts are NOT being rolled up into the Net Worth.... Rather odd that I had to exit Quicken for this change to take effect.
Thank You!1
