After archive, investment transaction balance does not equal holdings balance

After doing an archive of an investment account to clean out zero balance holdings, the investment transaction account value does not equal the value shown in the holdings option for my investment account. And the value shown in the Accounts column is in error, even though the portfolio value shown in the Investments tab is correct.

How can this be rectified?

Solved the problem after several steps, including
* cancelling and then relinking the investment accounts
* updating accounts again
* removing downloaded duplicates
* adding missing transactions

Take away - archiving reduced the number entries in the 12 year old investment account by apparently putting all the closed positions into a separate account file. But, until the account stabilizes I will not have any confidence in its accuracy for holdings and value/
