Calendar freezes when I click on next month button

Using Deluxe version R45.7 on Windows 10, I open the calendar and then click the forward button to go to the next month, and I get an hourglass cursor , and the dialog's close button turns red. When I click on that it gives an option to wait or close the app and send the results to Microsoft. I have tried validating and super-validating my data file, but nothing changes. Should I just start eliminating Bill & Income reminders until the problem goes away. Why can't this be fixed?

When you go into Tools / Manage Bill & Income Reminders, are there any reminders showing a status of Done, amount 0.00?
If so, how many? Just one or two? Dozens?
Those are what may be causing your problems. They need to be deleted one by one. Click to select such a reminder and click the "Delete" item in the Menu line.
