How did you download transactions older than 90 days and update Beginning Balance?

Your FI or bank controls how far back you can download. Most only go back 90 days. The rest you will have to enter manually. You might get a greater range of transactions if you go to your financial institution's website and download a different range of dates in a Web Connect .QFX file. If you manually enter older transactions, be sure to adjust the opening balance to account for them as you enter them.

Thank you. I did download all transactions from the start of this year but never saw a way to download that file. Can you comment on how to adjust the opening balance? Not an accountant over here and $$ is not my superpower. :)

Assuming you are using your statements to do the manual entry, just use the opening balance from the earliest statement you are using. Manually type that number into the register for your Opening Balance. Be sure to adjust the date to match the opening date of that first statement.
