It's past 6:30 pm on FRIDAY. Vanguard quotes for 2 accounts, still not updated. Yahoo! had them posted several minutes ago, but "update" in quicken still produces no Updated fund NAV.
What service for quotes does Q use?

Hello @Ken267,
Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.
First, I suggest creating a test file and adding the Vanguard account(s) to see if it produces the same issue with your quotes not updating. It is recommended to save a backup before proceeding with troubleshooting steps in the event that you would like to return to your original starting position. Below are instructions on how to create a test file:- Choose File menu > New Quicken File.
- Select New Quicken File.
- Click OK.
- In the File name field, enter the name of the new file, then click Save. Use a name like "Test File" to tell it apart from your main file.
Don't use any of these characters: * ? < > | " : \ / (asterisk, question mark, left and right-angle bracket, pipe, straight quotation marks, colon, BACKSLASH, FORWARD SLASH). Also, don't add the .qdf extension; Quicken does that for you.- Sign in with your Quicken ID. If you are prompted to create a Quicken ID but already have one, click Sign In under the Create Account prompt.
- Select to not use Mobile.
- Click Add Account to start adding accounts to the new file.
After adding accounts, see if you are experiencing the same problems in this test file.
Please let me know how this goes, I look forward to hearing your response.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't see how that would help.
After I posted this comment (some 20-30 minutes later) The NAVs were updated. So I can only assume Q is just lagging in time.
As I have posted before, many times in the past, The UPDATE process in Q has other issues as well; such as; some times when the NAVs fail to show updated prices, they are actually updated elsewhere in the software as is evidenced in the "NET WORTH" total as well as in my saved reports. (as if the update process was only partially completed.
So, if I wait long enough and keep clicking the UPDATE tab, it eventually gets it right.0 -
Have you turned on "real-time quotes" in Preferences > Investments? I don't believe it's really real-time, but it appears to remove the default 15 minute delay.

I'll try that out. I didn't have that preference checked.0
