Quicken not showing transactions before August 2022

I just got Quicken Deluxe for Mac and while I've synced all of my accounts, transactions are not showing before August 2022. Does Quicken not backfill transactions of a certain age or something?

    Update: this issue only appears to be happening with my Amex account transactions.

    It's up to each bank to decide how much history they want to include in their Quicken files when you sync. You might be able download a Quicken file from the Amex website that goes farther back.
