How do I stop downloads from being automatically categorized?

When I download transactions they are automatically categorized as split transactions that aren't correct. How do I stop automatic split? I've always downloaded transactions from my bank and manually entered the split information.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Downloaded Transactions > make sure the box for "Automatically categorize transactions" is unchecked.
I'd also go to Tools > Memorized Payee List > Look for payees that are the associated with this issue > Click on them to shade them > Edit (on the right side) > Make the changes highlighted in yellow in the following picture > OK.

Did doing these things resolve the issue for you?
