Still cannot connect to PenFed Pentagon Federal Credit Union

I know that it is a known issue. but it is now ongoing for over two months now.
It is getting close to end of year, need to connect, get transactions, reconcile and submit report to my CPA
I spent a lot of time with support on the phone, establishing new file, removing the connections, etc. nothing helped.

We and many other are having trouble connecting with Pentagon Federal Credit Union. It started in August and Quicken has yet to resolve the connection issue. Their standard answer is "no eta for fix" or words like that. This is the error I receive: "Aggregator_in_error (FI_TIMEOUT:DFP-102." Seems there are many Quicken users with same issue that Quicken would find the solution. Four months is a long time to keep users waiting and unhappy!0

I guess that I am luckier than most. my issue started only two months ago... yet they should be able to fixit within days (speaking as a software engineer who specializes in fixing obscure bugs)0

I am sorry about this emerging problem with FDP-106 error messages. Thank you for letting us know about this here on the Quicken Community.
First, save a backup by navigating to File > Save a Backup... in the upper menu at the top of the screen, then proceed through the steps listed in this Support Article, in order. Does that seem to resolve the issue?

none of the accounts were hidden. one of the account was already disconnected (per Quicken support). disconnected all other penfed accounts per support article. there were TWO penfed institutions to choose from. one was Pentagon FCU (which I've never seen before) and the other Pentagon Federal Credit Union (which is where my accounts were originally connected to)
I chose the Pentagon Federal Credit Union and got the same FDP-106 error. I then chose Pentagon FCU and still got the same FDP-106 error
tried both thrice
I verified that my username and password work at penfed.org
just to see if I can get more info, I intentionally typed a fake password. got a different error "Did you mistype your sign-in info? please retype your sign-in info for Pentagon FCU"
which means that I did type the correct password and that the "Account not found" does not mean that Quicken could not log in. it seems that Quicken was able to login but was NOT able to get account information from PenFed....

To be clear, is this problem now affecting all of your Pentagon Federal Credit Union accounts? If so, this issue is most likely related to the Open Alert - linked here - regarding a number of error codes that are being noticed in association with Pentagon Federal Credit Union accounts. Any information and all future updates will be provided in the previous link.

yes, it is affecting all PenFed since about October. but until today I used to get FDP-102 (which is not mentioned in the alert you linked). only today I am getting FDP-1060

I'm not a techie, just a Quicken customer who has not been able to download transactions from my PenFed accounts since July. It's really inconvenient to manually enter all my credit card transactions! Have you been working with PenFed to resolve the issue? Perhaps move the resolution to a higher priority?0

you can download transaction from PenFed manually and import into quicken, much less error prone than entering all the transaction by hand...
to download credit card transactions from PenFed, click on the triangle next to "more account in fo ant transactions" at the bottom of the credit card account summary box. from the pull down menu select "Download Transactions"
do NOT click on the account name, as that will take you to a separate area where you can see transactions, but no ability to download.
note: in attempt to verify my instruction above, I followed my steps and today I got an error message from PenFed... so you might want to try these instructions in a few days...0 -
NOTE: there was this new "Pentagon FCU" institution which I noticed when I was on the phone with quicken support. at the time, he told me NOT to use the new FCU but use the original Pentagon Federal Credit Union entry, when I questioned which one to use. got the error.
later on my own, I tried the "new" financial institution, and got the same error as the original.
HOWEVER, today, someone posted that the new Pentagon FCU was working for them. I tried it and indeed no error, and it showed all my accounts which I re-linked to the existing quicken accounts.
so far so good...
edit: one transaction did not download and I had to add it by hand. will monitor.0 -
I was able to download all transactions from Penfed today without any issues.0

I hadn't been able to add my new PenFed accounts for several week, but was able to do so today. Yeah !0
