Finding check register?? Manual transfers to show in check register.

I have been using Quicken Deluxe from 2010. Just updated to new Quicken. Totally changed. I can't figure out how to be able to transfer from MM to Checking. I do not do anything online. ALL manual. Please help

    Do you have the Transfer column showing?  Click the gear or setting and add the transfer column.

    thanks I finally found it. When I go to write check there is not a area to type in the check number. Could you please tell me how find to add to check#?. thank you

    Where on checks that you type do you enter check number. Does not display a area for that?

    If you are indeed a Quicken for Windows user, the following might be helpful:
    The Write Checks dialog is for creating and printing new check transactions. If you need to manually enter information about paper checks which you wrote outside of Quicken please use the Checking account's transaction register to enter the check transaction. A Check# column is available in the register.
