Adding new account from US Bank
EKH
I am already downloading transactions from US Bank to Quicken for Windows. I recently started a new MM Savings account at US Bank thru their Wealth Mgmt division. When I go online to US Bank I see this new account along with all my other accounts. When I try to add a new account in Quicken for this MMA it does not show this account in the list of accounts to pick from. Is there something special to do for US Bank to add this new Money Makt Savings account so the transactions can be automatically downloaded into Quicken?
Any help would be appreciated.
-Eric

@EKH
- it is very possible that that US BANK only provides support for 'the bank' and not for the wealth mmgt division which is technically not part of the regulated 'bank' - it would most probably have separate computer systems to maintain the records of 'the bank' vs, 'the securities' .
Is the MM savings account technically insured by the FDIC (which means it is part of 'the bank') or a product that is not FDIC insured (which suggests it is NOT part of 'the bank').. I might ask the financial advisor about the product and whether US BANK weath manamagement supports the transactional history to Quicken. Are they able to provide transactional downloads of other financial products: stocks, ETFs , Mutual funds, etc? if yes, what is the process to make that work?
