downloading quotes not working

i have been having issues for awhile but have not resolved the inability to download investment quotes. The internet connection says my pc is connected but the software does not retrieve any data. I have quicken 2009.

If you really do still run
Quicken 2009
, you are running an old, unsupported software version which is not permitted to download or import quotes and/or transactions any longer. If things were working for a while after your software became unsupported, it's because some of the old servers were kept around. It's quite possible that the old quotes server has now been retired.

thanks that sounds reasonable its been awhile that the quotes worked. will look into getting newer version
