the "prev. close" price in the Investing Portfolio window is no longer adjusting to fit within the column. problem just arose after recent 6.11.1 update for MAC

Not sure that "adjusting to fit within the column" is an accurate description of the previous behavior.
In QMac v6.10 theĀ
PREV CLOSE
column had the unusual behavior of displaying values rounded to 2 decimal places. No other column (that I checked) had this behavior - they all displayed all the decimal digits, or if the column was not wide enough, then fewer digits were displayed followed by "..." to indicate that some digits were not displayed.
So it seems that someone in Development seeing this unusual behavior in Quicken made the decision to remove the unusual behavior of theĀ
PREV CLOSE
column. The column now behaves like all the other columns, including the
PRICE
column.
