why is quicken getting slower and slower to load and use

I followed a suggestions on the site (https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7921408/why-is-quicken-getting-slower-and-slower-to-load-and-use-never-was-this-slow-when-it-was-free) but the validate ran, still slow; ran super validate and it will no longer completely start up. Eventually I am given a message wait for Quicken or close the application. I cannot get to my Quicken files at all. I have the recommended back up. What should I do?

It's a mystery. How new is your PC and what CPU, RAM, & video card does it have? I am starting to suspect that for reasons I can't explain, that newer PCs are suffering slower Quicken than older PCs.
