Quicken Home Inventory spontaneously closes rather than open detail view

Since installing Quicken R46.12 Build 27.1.46.12 on my Windows 11 desktop, I am unable to open detail view in Home Inventory. Home Inventory automatically closes if I click on the detail view button. Any experience with this?

Please read and try the instructions in https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7926418/home-inventory-issues

You may have to remember reapplying this change after every Quicken software update.
