How to change qdf file with "type"backup to qdf

Hi - I had trouble reconciling in quicken so I chose an older manual backup file and now want to change the 'type" of file from backup to a regular qdf file again. Cannot find in windows explorer how to change the "type" from "quicken qdf backup data file"
Using Quicken Premier Version R46.12 windows 10

You can change the name in Windows explorer and change the extension from .qdf-backup to just .qdf.  Right click on the name and edit it.  Is Windows Explorer set to show the Extensions?

Just don't forget to also move the renamed file from the backup folder into the folder for "live" QDF files, typically \Documents\Quicken

BTW, the process to do that using Quicken would be called Restore a Backup File and can be found under the File Menu.
