Move credit card accounts from "banking" to "debts"
mb25
Hi, for some reason my credit cards are mixed in with my bank accounts instead of with my debts. This means it shows I have a very very negative balance in cash when in actually I have plenty of cash on hand and am not negative. The only way I can think to fix this is to move my credit accounts out of the "banking" area where I would expect to find my liquid assets, and into the "debt" area where I expect to find my liabilities and thus where a credit card account belongs.

You are certainly free to do that. Edit Account Details, Display options, under Account Intent, choose Liabilities instead of Credit. I don't know of any particular negative consequences of doing so.
I will say since inception, Quicken has categorized CC under the banking / credit area perhaps trying to encourage a belief that such debt is short term rather than long term.
