How do I change a category from Expense to Income? The black dot won't move to Income.

You should be able to change the black dot. Is it grayed out? If the category you're trying to change is a sub-category, you can't edit the income/expense type; it always follows the main category.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930

Thanks Jacobs. The category is Income under a heading. Income has four subs. Elsewhere I have Income not a sub and with two subs that is correct.0

I did place it as main category and it worked. I just identified the Acct. for this income, with subcategories. So OK.0
