Why can't I resize the category and tag columns?

I can resize date, charge, clr, payment, amount and balance columns, but I cannot resize the category and tag columns. Is there a wat to do this that I'm not aware of?

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. I find the whole resizing UI very poor.

Yes, when a register is in 2-line display mode, only the top heading allows for column resizing.  A major UI oversight since forever that the second header line does not allow resizing.

As far as I know the only way with exact control is to change the register to 1-line display mode.  I find that hard to work with so have never gone that route.  Only other way offers no real control... and that's to just stretch the Quicken window in its entirety wider.
