I just opened Quicken after noy having been home for a few weeks, synced online, and suddenly a massive number of transactions are gone

    First thing to check is to do a reset of the sorting filters of your transactions (under the top left of your account name) just set it to all dates, any type, all transactions, or if the Reset button shows, push that! That just a good thing to start with.
