Transaction password no longer prevents modification of transaction

Two updates ago (so since Nov/Dec 2022?), the Transaction Password feature stopped working. Most recent update did not fix. Have reset, deleted, and reset multiple times. Can still enter/modify/delete transactions without entering password. Please fix this feature. Quicken v 47.7, Build 21.1.47.7 on Win 10, v 22H2

The Transaction Password is only for editing transactions older than a specified date. What date have you specified for the Transaction Password?

Through the end of 2023. Been using Quicken for 20(?) years. As clearly stated in my question, this feature stopped working two updates ago.
