edit check # column
rjmp
In all the years I have been using Quicken I have never figured out why you cannot rearrange the check # drop down list. Who mostly writes checks anymore? Who actually prints checks in quicken? We do tons of debits and bill pays! Why can't these be editable?

I'm not sure if I've ever seen anybody request a change to be made to the Check # column's drop down list ... but maybe I just don't remember ...
You can add personal entries to the drop down list, but you cannot rearrange any entries and you cannot delete predefined entries.
A Quicken programmer would have to answer the question about rearranging entries.
Personally, I don't really use the Check # column for my transactions, except for the 2 or 3 checks I need to write and print every month and a few transactions that are downloaded as deposits. All other transactions I leave the check # field blank or ignore what Quicken is programmed to enter there.
