password not accepted

I have reset my password Quicken ID several times. It works fine for getting into my account online, but I can't get into the Quicken app. I'm starting from scratch and just reinstalled Quicken so there shouldn't be any separate password there. I get the prompt for my ID and password, enter them and it takes me back to the same screen. I already set permissions for Edge to accept the site and my antivirus was instructed to accept it too.
