Display [question about ordering accounts in Account Sidebar] (Q Mac)

Hello,
i would like to know how to move the order of my different accounts in the side bar. Is it mandatory to display in alphabetical order?

    Yes, the ordering of the accounts in the sidebar is fixed. You can add letters or numbers to the front of the account name to get accounts listed in a particular order; you have to restart Quicken after renaming to see the new ordering.

    My account register entries by date are not showing in order from January through December. How do I put the dates in order?

    @Karen LL Click on the DATE header at the top of the Date column to sort the register by date. Repeatedly clicking on it will change the order between oldest first & newest first.
