Problem With Maturity Dates Report
jldavid47
Reports -> Investing -> Maturity Dates for Bonds and CDs
Very useful report. However there are a couple of problems:
1) If you sell the bond it still shows up on the report. If I sell the bond prior to maturity I really don't care to see it in this report.
2) If you sell the bond and then subsequently repurchase the
same
bond in the
same
account it shows up twice in the report. That shouldn't happen.
There is a workaround for problem #1. If I edit the bond details and delete the maturity date the bond no longer shows up in the report. That's OK, but it would be nice to have an option to only show bonds that are currently owned by default. I have not been able to find a workaround for problem #2.
I hope there's a fix in a future release.

Have not heard of your #2 issue before. #1 is well known.
Perhaps you’d like to add to and vote for this idea:

Agree that #1 should be fixed. It would also be nice if Call Date was added to the report as it is sometimes more relevant than Maturity Date.
