USAA and New log in Instructions

Greetings, I am a long time user of Quicken. However running into an issue with USAA and Quicken. I recall late last year Quicken sending an email about a new connection. method, which was supposed to email once adopted. Recently I found an article on Feb 9 2023 from Quicken saying the new connection method is in place. I tried to use the methods on the Quicken website and in Quicken, but they are not identical screen pictures or directions. And USAA does not support this new method. I called USAA and they only recommend the Unique UserID and unique passcode, which I guess Quicken is replacing.
